Happy 3rd Birthday, Olivia!

September 28, 2013- PARTY DAY!

We went shopping to get all the last minute items... and of course, a Princess balloon!

The set up begins. Your theme this year was Bubble Guppies! I'm thankful that we were able to fit this in before you completely moved into your Princess stage... I think I'll always love Bubble Guppies though.

So many family and friends made it to the party. Nan, Paps, Aunt Kimmy, Aunt KiiKii, Aunt RaRa, Uncle Alex, Uncle Eric, Mr Dakota, Uncle Kyle, Uncle Kurtis, Miss Crystal, Grandmom, PopPop, Great Aunt Bo, Great Uncle Rick, Aunt Angie and Cousin Ben. Jordyn and family, Jocelyn and family, Brenna and family, Brooke and family, Miss Diana and Mr Adam too. It was so awesome to see so many people come out to celebrate with you. It overwhelms me at time how generous people can be.

Then it was time to blow out your 3 candles and eat your cake. Singing "Happy Birthday" is usually the hardest part for me. It means another year has gone by. I don't want to be sad because we have all these wonderful, happy memories that I am so thankful to share with you. But it also means another year has gone of you being my little baby... and each day you grow bigger, and smarter and more beautiful.

September 29, 2013- You are 3!
So we started a tradition on your 1st birthday where you have to break through the crepe paper wall in the morning. This year was the first that you actually went through it on your own. Of course, you tried to crawl under it first... but we put you back in and then you ran through!

Then we had our annual family pictures. You have the biggest smile that just lights up the room. It is amazing to see just how much you've grown and changed over these three years.

Then we went to Nan and Pap's for the Raven's game. They lost. Boo. After we got home it was time for family presents and ice-cream cake!

Lot's of princess stuff- of course! And the ice cream cake was a total bomb. Too hard. and you freaked out. Never again.... okay, maybe not never, but many years....

So, Happy 3rd Birthday, my little princess. I'm looking forward to what this year brings you, and to us as a family. I can't wait to see how you grow and mature, and what milestones you'll reach. I'm sure it will all be one great big adventure.

xoxo,
mommy
