A very interesting week.
This week you have become afraid of monsters and the dark, as well as other random scary things like bears. You wouldn't let me leave your room Tuesday night. It made me sad how upset you were. Since then, nights haven't been bad. At school you went on a bear hunt and that night you were frightened of bears. I try to reassure you that you are safe here no matter what you are afraid of.
On Tuesday I gave you some grape pedialite and you threw it on the floor and demanded "fresh water."
You had a wonderful, happy!, time at tumble on Wednesday. You were giggling and laughing through most of it and followed directionsand stayed where you were supposed to. Pleasant change from the sad and/or not listening at tumble Olivia.
Friday we celebrated daddy and mommy's weight-loss work by eating at Fiesta Mexico. I'm so proud of how much you like and how well you eat tacos! (Mommy's favorite food just happens to be tacos.) Then we went down to Miss Sara's house for a quick visit. You got to finally open your Christmas present from her- rubber number blocks- and loved playing with them. You can stack blocks like nobody's buisness. You also got to meet her two dogs- Scooby and Scrappy. You sure liked them a lot even if they weren't too sure about you.
Today we had a play date with Cousin Ben at his house. You had such a good time running around you were asleep 5 minutes into our ride home. After nap, Aunt Kimmy came over and we went shopping. We got some great stuff like Chutes and Ladders, Mouse Trap, lacing beads and a magnetic princess dress up toy. We had lots of fun. :) When we were leaving Ross you were happy to have your dinosaur magnets and yelled "We paid for it! Yay!"
Ravens are playing in the super bowl tomorrow and we are going to Nan and Paps before the game. You are excited because you love having tea parties with them!
Mommy is doing her best to get us to Disney in August. I would book it now but I have to wait and see when mommy's school starts back this fall. If it starts when I think it does we should be good to go :)
I cannot get over how much you are talking and how well you are doing it. Your imagination is really starting to shine though and I love watching you play.
All my love,
mommy
