Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!

The weekend started out pretty calm and quiet. You got to visit Nan and Pap's house Friday night while mommy and daddy went to Oak's Christmas Dinner. Saturday we went shopping at the mall. You made daddy ride up and down the escalators over, and over, and over, and over....... not kidding.

Sunday we went to Nan and Paps' to watch football annnnnnnd...... SNOW!

  Here you are Sunday night. You were so very mad when it was time to go in. The snow ended up getting covered in ice so we got a SNOW (okay, ice....) DAY on Monday! We went out to lunch because it warmed up enough by that point the roads were fine. We went to El Rodeo to eat TACOS! Then we went shopping for a couple gifts. Let me tell you, you are never going to walk in a store again. You're new favorite game is "Run away from mommy and hide in the clothes racks." I was SOOOO MAD! You don't quite get stranger danger- but I do. And it is scary when I can't see you. Then you were sad we couldn't play in the snow but really, it wasn't really even snow at that point. But good news.....

Because on Tuesday we got 6" of snow and ANOTHER SNOW DAY!!! We even got to make an Olaf (which is every snow man you see now.... every single snowman....)

Here you are warming up with Mozart, after playing outside, watching "How to Train Your Dragon" which is your current favorite movie that we watch about 5 times a week.

Daddy even went to get us hot chocolate, but then you had a fit about the marshmallows. Sheesh....

Tomorrow we have a 2-hour delay. Which is nice since all the melted snow is going to refreeze overnight and I don't need the anxiety of driving you around in it. Plus, I cherish any extra time I get with you- so I appreciate it all the more since you'll be here too :)

Olaf!

I'm happy to say that you finally got to see your first movie in a theater! We went to West Manchester Mall to see Frozen. You loved the music and the character Olaf! I was so proud of what a great job you did!

Before the movie we went shopping at the outlets and got lots of good stuff. We also went Cracker Barrel for lunch!

We went Trick-or- Treating at camp. You won a prize again in the costume contest! You were so excited every time you got a piece of candy! It was so funny.

 We went to get a prize from ToysRus because you are doing so awesome on the potty! I don't think it could have been much easier. I'm so proud of you!

 Pumpkin Patch day! We picked pumpkins, went to the petting zoo and rode on the tractor. It was SO cold! We also went to Dutch Wonderland to ride rides and go on their Trick-or-Treat trail.

 Time to carve the pumpkin! You were brave to put your hand in the pumpkin. Mommy HATES the gooey insides! On Halloween you dressed up as Tinkerbell and we went around the neighborhood. By this day you also had gone a whole week with no accidents. You always have taken everything mommy and daddy have thrown at you in stride and adapted and succeeded in wonderful ways. 

You make us feel so lucky and proud!

Happy Thanksgiving! We had a lot of fun at Nan and Paps first. Then we got to go to Granmom and PopPops second. You even got to spend the night there with Cousin Ben!

After an evening at Nan and Paps we went to the trains at the Glen Rock library. You loved seeing them moving and the buttons you can push that make things move. 

and so begins our holiday season. I'm so excited for this one because as you get older you just "get" more of it and you are excited too.

We got a surprise day off of school because of the incredible amount of rain. So I decided today was the day we were going to really start your potty training! You've been doing really well!

Then we went to Chuck E Cheese! They got a couple new rides too!

Sunday October 13

We went with Aunt Kimmy to the Renaissance Fair. You dressed up like a princess. You got a medal from the queen at the costume contest. We also went trick or treating and painted a pumpkin together! The highlight for me was seeing you on an elephant! Not many people get that opportunity! 

Monday October 14

Another day together off of school! We went shopping and ate lunch at Chilis. That afternoon we got the family pictures taken with daddy's side of the family.

All week you wanted to listen to the song "What does the fox say?" A little ridiculous but funny. This was also your first full week in the 3s room. You've learned the letter C and D. You are thrilled that you get to play on the "big kid playground!" So proud of you!
